Hello, Here is our configuration:
H323, PRI, CallManager 7.0, IPCC 8.0
I need to change the inbound caller ID presented to a specific hunt group from one number and don't see how I can do it in CUCM. Is there a way to do it with an IPCCX script?
example: Call comes in, routes up to IPCCX and I tag it with the client name and then call gets forwarded to hunt group in CUCM 7.0 with client name as caller ID.
I know it is possible in CUCM 8, but we are running 7.
thank you for your help.

Just one thought (never tried it).
Why don't you translate the CLID on the tH.323 GW ?
You just have to create a specific POTS dial-peer matching the Hunt Group number and apply a translation profile to change the CLID.

Prior to when the call gets routed to the hunt group, you could pass it through a translation pattern that is the same number as your hunt-pilot that adjusts the caller-id to your liking, which will then translate to the same number as your hunt-pilot. Just make sure you have the appropriate CSS applied to the translation pattern which has access to the hunt-pilot.
