Checking my CUCM 8.6 system, it is there.  On my CUCM 8.5 system, I do not have this file even after installing the QED and load file.

Usually, when phones are shipped, the load has the default language files on the system.  You might try a factory reset of the phone to see if that helps.

Hi!

I had same problem. Restarting TFTP service is not enough for CUCM to start recognize 3905 phones. You need to reload your cluster to allow them to register. I have tested this solution in my lab environment. The phone has successfully registered after CUCM reload.

cin-sip.jar is only responsible for the localization of phone's user interface and the ability to register to the cucm does not depend on the existence of this file on the TFTP server.

Hi!

I´m having the same problem. What do you mean with "reload your cluster"? Have to reload all services or which ones? Reload the servers?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Varaki,

This requires a reboot of each of the servers in the cluster (not just services)

https://supportforums.cisco.com/message/3433167#3433167

via cli - utils system restart

Cheers!

Hi Rob!

Thak you for your answer!

Do I have to reload the cluster every time i want to register a new device? That's crazy!

Regards,

Victor.

Hi Varaki,

First off, you are most welcome my friend

This cluster reload is actually quite rare and is only required here due to the

addition of the "Device Enabler". You also need a cluster- wide reboot when adding

Device Packs. Other than that you certainly don't need to do this when trying

to register devices or add firmware files.

Cheers!

Rob

Hi Rob!

Thank you again!
