Hello friends,
I bought some new stock phone, model 7942G & 7962G,
I have a amazing problem when I want to register my phones!
I will say a brief of my network structure and my problem here , maybe someone can help me I can go out from this hell
I have :
1. esxi on G8 server and all my service run on this server (Issabel)
2. Microtic router rb2011UiAS
3. Cisco 2960 L2 switch
4. D-Link poe switch
My IP range is :
1. 192.168.100.X for my server services
2. 192.168.2.X for my LAN network
3. 192.168.3.X for My camera
Whats my problem :
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. section:
I have issabel 2020 as my voip system and its work on my network with softphone as well as possible.
now I bought some new 7942G and 7962G as a ip phone ,its are all SIP version and firmware is SIP42.9-4-2SR3-1S.
I connect 7942G with issabel from tftp boot folder in issabel and upload all firmware on it + SEPMAC.cnf.xml file.
when i connect 7942G to poe network , its get IP from dhcp range (192.168.3.X), firmware and all config I put in cnf.xml such as time and date and sip details such as extension and ....
but it stuck in registering and a X near the phone line.
Note:
I add dhcp option 66 and 150 in my router(Microtik) and it point to my issabel ip address.
my route work as well as I can ping each range in my network.
I havnot any VLAN in my network.
My issabel firewall is off and fail2ban too.
I have ping from issabel to phone.
My SEPMAC.cnf.xml
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
section 2:
I install new issabel on new server with ip range 172.16.20.x
I add new network and dhcp range in microtik from same range.
I add needed route for network.
Cisco 7942 get ip from dhcp range 172.16.20.X and it register succesfully with same firmware and config file !!!!!
So What is problem do yo think?
Do this phone work only in 1 ip range?
I'm so hang on this problem.
Thanks if you could help me

In the original post his phones worked when connected to one subnet, but not to another. That sounds like a network problem, for example routing between that subnet and the server, or incorrect or missing gateway in the "bad" DHCP scope.
Is your routing all perfectly correct? Phone gets an IP address from the correct subnet, and you can ping the phone from the server?
