Hi All,
we have Call Manager 6 ,and we want to buy some cisco 7965G phone.
when I try to add a new phone I found only 7965 on the list — no 7965G
is this mean that I cannot use 7965G on our CCM ?
Please kindly advise,

some one told me that I need to download the firmware for the cisco 7965g
our CCM version is cucm 6.1.2.1000-13

Hi,
You can add the 7965G phone by selecting 7965 under device menu, there are some other phone you will find listed as G-GE, example 7941G-GE \ 7961 G-GE those have to be added with that option only for successful registration.

Hi Adel,
I just wanted to add a note to the good tips from Jitender (+5)
The "G" in 7965G stands for global which means that the phone uses global icons for the keys/buttons as discussed in this good blog;

When you see 7965 in add/device/phone in your options type drop-down that means you are good to go with the 7965G and you can go ahead and place your order.
