Cisco 840 registration

Hi,

I try to register my cisco phone 840 ww on cucm 12.5. 

self-registration fails indicating downloader file SEPXXXXXXXXXXXX.xml.cnf not found. So I tried to do the manual registration but I don't see Cisco 840 among the models offered. I need directions please thank you

Hi - There is a minimum version that supports the 840/860. Take a look at the doc at this link.

If you are not running 12.5.1SU(3) or newer you will have to install - installer and firmware COP files - as well as a Call-Manager and CAPF Trust certificates.
