Cisco 8821 not registering after leaving coverage area and come back

Hi all ,

I have a problem with Cisco 8821 which after starting the phone it connects to WLC ( v.8) and then registers with CUCM (v.10.5) , untill here everything OK but after leaving coverage area and the come back the phone connects to WLC but do not register with CUCM . Only after restarting the phone registers with CUCM . Did someone experienced this or has some answer to my problem? Thanks in advance.

Hi,

What is the firmware of these 8821's? If running the 11.0.3 firmware then please make sure that you have the latest device pack for cucm 10.5.2 installed as per the release notes of the firmware

If running a lower versions try upgrading to the latest one and see if that helps, else it will require pcap's from the WLC and CUCM to understand which packets are dropping and in which direction that cause the phone not to register back.
