Hi all,
some month ago i set up a Cisco 2811 with CME 8.6 IOS is c2800nm-adventerprisek9-mz.151-4.M4.bin. Inventory is VIC2-2BRI-NT/TE and PVDM2-16.
My Problem is That ISDN Calls IN and OUT have no function. When i dial out after seconds the status ist "unknown Number" (in the Phonedisplay).
The BRI an Voice-Port cfg:
interface BRI0/2/0
no ip address
isdn switch-type basic-net3
isdn tei-negotiation preserve
isdn point-to-point-setup
isdn incoming-voice voice
end
voice-port 0/2/0
compand-type a-law
cptone DE
Other Voive cfg:

What ist if the Layer 2 Status is wrong... it seams that the negotiation of the tei is corrupted....
09-04-2012 03:35 AM
What I saw from the debug isdn q921, showed that layer two frames are been sent and received. In most cases that should be good enough. When you make a test call, does "show isdn status" shows "multiple frame established". The ISDN should come up when a call is attempted.
I am not sure if layer two frames are corrupted or not, because I dont know how to verify that.

Now you need the dial-peer configuration, translations, etc.
All things that are explained in the manual or often discusses in the forum.

But then for some reason is incorrect and need to be fixed.
Do not take offense, but unless you have the necessary certifications or equivalente experience, the best choice is having someone that does, to configure and maintain your system.
