Hi,

Please is there anyway by receiving incoming call through usb modem (dongle) from ext. mobile service provider with Cisco ip phone? 
phone type is Cisco ip phone CP-8855

Not clear what does that mean by receiving incoming call using USB modem 

If you have cloud service and for phone to register with the Cloud, phones  need a network connectivity to the cloud service. You can use any technology to connect with the cloud.  you can use with 3g,4g,5g, Fiber  anything...

Thanks for the support, to get everything clear here. I bought Cisco Cp-8855 ip phone that has two usb ports, one under the phone as input and the other at the side as output. If i plug usb internet modem with sim support. Is it possible i can receive external call with the help of the usb modem with sim?

No Those ports are not designed for the purpose you mentioned.

You need to connect this trough a Lan or WIFI(if support)

There is no 8855 phone model  from Cisco.

Anyway please what are the functions of the two usb ports on the phone?
