Hi azeemo157

Yes, the DX650 supports mirroring of its screen onto the external monitor via HDMI, including during a video call.

If you have any further questions, also feel free to post them at http://developer.cisco.com/web/dx600/home or ask them on our Twitter feed @dxdevex

Hi,

a question regarding a video call with content being shared and the dual display feature of the DX650.

does the DX650 support display of video on the screen of the phone and display of content being shared by another device on the external display?

Yes, the DX650 supports video and content on separate screens using BFCP with the 10.2.2 version of firmware, which is available on cisco.com.

Sorry for posting in others thread. Can you please let me know how to use the external display only during a call. Scenario: I have a Lenovo all-in-one PC with HDMI in. I want to use this as secondary display for DX650, but only during a  call.

Unfortunately, there is no SW or HW switch in the DX650 to disable the HDMI connection with an externally-connected display.  If you connect via HDMI, the secondary monitor will be used 100% of the time.  I recommend you connect or disconnect the HDMI cable to your Lenovo when you want use it in a call.

Hi azeemo157,

The Cisco DX650 supports dual independent display as well.  It outputs video to an external display via HDMI-HDMI or HDMI-DVI at resolution up to 1920x1200.

Visit the Cisco.com product page here: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps12956/index.html

Hi,

Is the external monitor is supported also in DX80 ? as I see there an HDMI port for input from a PC

But the other HDMI out is mentioned as not in use ! So I think it is still not supported and may be added in future releases

Thanks

Haitham

The DX80 and DX70 support HDMI video input at resolutions up to 1920x1080.  Neither endpoint officially supports HDMI output.
