Cisco GUI Administrator password issue

I am trying to reset the administrator password for my CUCM ver  11.5  I have ssh via VSphere client to the server and selected "Console."  At the comand once logged in I am at a user "administrator"  I then type utils reset_application_ui_administrator_passsword.  I am then prompted for Enter New Password and Reenter. The change is accepted.

I then open a browser and, as usual enter my Publishers IP address e.g. 10.X.X.X and am at the sign on page.  My username of administrator with the new password lets me in.

PROBLEM:

When the session is closed or times out due to inactivity I can't sign in with administrator username and the newly created password that worked.  I think there might be needed step in the console session but I can't find any reference to my "like problem."  Can you assist?

Change the password once more in the GUI might work.

Hi,

What error are you getting when you try to login after timeout. I believe
it will be security check error. If that is the one, you can expire your
browser cookies to connect again.
