I am trying to register a Cisco IP phone 8865 with sip8845_65.12-0-1-11 on CUCM 10.5.2 but it is stuck at registering while the old 9951 with sip9951.9-4-2SR2.2 is registered without problem.

I put an older 8865 firmware load to CUCM and finally registered.

Have you checked that there is no error in ITL file download on the device? It is quite common that there are differences in security settings on devices that has been previously registered, but then put away for a while before it is then put into use again. It there are errors with ITL download the device will not register. This can be solved by resetting the security configuration on the device.

The 8865 is new out of box, I have tried reset security and reset all settings, both are not working. From phone status message ITL file is installed, .cnf.xml.sgn file is ok. I am using non-secure profile. The phone just stuck at registering state.

How do I upload the firmware to cucm? I also have this problem, can you share the firmware?

You would need to download the firmware COP file from Cisco Software Central and then install it on your nodes. Cisco is the source for firmware and unfortunately it is against the rules to share it.

Software and firmware are not shared over the Cisco Community. You can download the firmware from https://software.cisco.com if you have a valid contract for the phone and it is attached to your CCO ID.
