Cisco IP phone full test without system

Hi All,

My question is, how to full audio test, Cisco IP phones?

Example 7942.

I am use the POE switch, but dont like use the system. Test without phone registering.

My situation.

My task every day testing mouch more the IP phones.

Basicly no have a enough time waiting for registration. The UCM is wery slowly.

Ok, power on test is easy, connect the phone the POE swith, and waiting boot the phone.

After boot easy testing the keyboard, and ring and speaker.

But I don't have a test the receiver and incoming call example.

I am search this the easy way.

My idea, use the rasberri PI or other mini PC with DHCP and TFT server.

Full audio and test it together if possible. I think Cisco is hiding in some codes it is possible to test the devices themselves.  Somehow, the production is also being tested devices, and do not think they were waiting to register.

IP phone is a dumb terminial, you won't be able to test all it's feature without registering it.

You can't do that without registering the phone to one of the Call Control application that Cisco provides such as CM or CME.
