Hi,
Cisco supports two IP Phone termination solutions on the ASA:
1. SSL Anyconnect VPN
2. Unified Phone Proxy
SSL Anyconnect VPN is supported from CUCM8.x, and Cisco IP Phone 7942 and upwards.
What about Unified Phone Proxy? Which Cisco IP phones are supported? Only the 7942/7945/7962/7965/7975 or also 7911/69xx phones using which signalling (SIP/SCCP)
SSL Anyconnect VPN is more easy to configure and more straightforward but also more expensive from a licensing perspective and only support the highend phones (7942>)
Hope someone can clearify.
Kind regards

SSL clientless VPN and Anyconnect are two different things as I understand. Anyconnect is not expensive. $150 MSRP for 250 users on ASA5510 for example.

Supported Phones:
7960's and 7940's must be provisioned with an LSC before using with ASA phone-proxy:
LSC provisioning can be aross the internet through the firewall in *most* cases. There is a corner case where the phone firmware is SO old that it doesn't ask for a CTL file and can therefore not participate in the CAPF process.
