In cisco ip phone 7942 i am not able to load the background image of my company although it is uploaded in CUCM and all other 790 phones are getting thosse images but when i see in this ip phone their is no background image may be the users have deleted the image so how to get back the image for this particular phone.if i do factory reset will it work or any solutions highly appreciated
is it happening on a single Cisco 7942 phones or on all the phones. If it is happening to all the phones then probably the image size for Cisco 7942 phones is not correct. For Cisco 7942 phones the image size should be.
Full size image-320 pixels (width) X 196 pixels (height).
Thumbnail image-80 pixels (width) X 49 pixels (height).
You will have to pull the List.xml from the Publisher and Edit it .
On the command prompt of a PC type in the following command.
tftp get List.xml
Check the Directory where this file gets downloaded. Edit it and upload it again to the call manager.
