Hello @amalmichaelvj,

There's no a default MOH file in the router's flash memory, so you'll need to provide your own MOH audio source.

You need to have an MOH audio file in the correct format (usually WAV or MP3). You can create or obtain this audio file. Make sure it's compatible with your CME version and that it's formatted according to requirements.

Here Cisco documentation from CME admin guide:

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucme/admin/configuration/manual/cmeadm/cmemoh.html

Best regards

By default there is no MOH files available on a Cisco router. You need to load the files to router flash. But  If you extract CME.tar  apparently there will be default MOH which you can use. And this MOH file packaged with the CME software is completely royalty free.

To download the CME files, use this link.https://software.cisco.com/download/home/286327511/type/282786567/release/14.1

The audio stream that is used for MOH can derive from one of two sources:

  • Audio file—A MOH audio stream from an audio file is supplied from a .au or .wav file held in router flash memory. For configuration information, see "Configuring Music on Hold from an Audio File".

  • Live feed—A MOH audio stream from a live feed is supplied from a standard line-level audio connection that is directly connected to the router through an FXO or “ear and mouth” (E&M) analog voice port. For configuration information, see “Configuring Music on Hold from a Live Feed”.

Note:- MP3 is not a supported format.

Hi,

Here you can find all CME file sets based on your version https://software.cisco.com/download/home/286327511/type/282786567/release/14.1

You can only take what you need and upload it to the router’s flash.

HTH

Regards

Carlo
