we are currently testing the cisco mobile with iphone to make voip calls.
we have 4 locations, local and 3 overseas office.
we have only managed to test successfully to call the 3 other overseas office once on the iphone cisco mobile.
the connection is via cisco vpn through our ASA firewall.
we also tested the same connection using VPN connection with CIPC to call the 3 other overseas office with no issue.
what are the things that we need to take note of when configuring iphone cisco mobile.
the setup was done by our vendor, he is also unable to pin point why the cisco mobile works once only.

What happens when you try to dial an extension that resides on an overseas subscriber?

able to dial the extension but when the other party pick up the phone, the line went dead.
we dial the voip number just like we do on the physical IP phone.

When you say, " when the other party pick up the phone, the line went dead ", I presume the line drops. If it's true, its typical symptom of codec mismatch. Pls verify the codec, transcoder & MTP ( enable MTP on the trunk connecting sites, if not already ) related config between two sites.
Pls rate helpful posts.

I have tried to enable MTP for the inter-site trunk between the 2 locations.
But it still do not work.
The call still drop when the other party pick up the phone.
