Hi
We currently use 4 digit ddi extensions, however, due to number exhaustion we are about to embark on a project to increase the extension length to 5 digits.
My question is, how can we go about updating the existing extensions in bulk to add the additional leading digit? I can't see anywhere in the BAT to administer DN's? We have approx 6000 extensions to update so doing these one at a time is not preferable(!)
So for example - extensions 1000-1999 will become 51000 - 51999.
Any help would be much appreciated.

James,
The method I would use is via the AXL soap interface using an UpdateLine request.
There are examples of the code required in the forum and all the getting started and schema documents are there.
If you have a look and need more advice drop me a private message.

Hi Craig
I've downloaded the tool and had a brief look at some of the doc's I found online, however, this is not something I've ever done before and to be honest I'm failing at the first hurdle of actually opening the tool up(!)
Do you know of any good documentation I could read to try and gain a better understanding of this?
Let me know if you can.
Thanks
James
