Customer's Current Site: It has Nortel CS1k

New Site: Factored Cisco Unifed Business Edition 6K ver9.1 with HA

Cisco Unifed Business Edition 6K ver9.1 has to be integrated with Nortel CS1k. Like to understand how this integration would take place?

  1. Do we need to setup a normal IP Trunk between the two from Business Edition

  2. Does the integration require a SIP Trunk with CUBE license on Cisco Voice Gateway

Also, like to know if Automatic Failover is supported from Business Edition 6k ver9.1 between two business Edition Servers in HA mode running CUCM and Unity Connection

No, no trunks or anything are required (unless you're building two separate 6K clusters, then yes)

Phones will failover as in any other deployment, if you configure a PUB and a SUB.
