Hi;

We have Mobile Phones. I have integrated Iphone with Cisco Jabber. It works great

But for Blackberry phones,  What is the solution? It must work like softphone and must be integrated with CUCM.

Can I do this without Blackberry MVS server?  What is the solution for Blackberry?

I have read some datasheets like Webex Solutions but could not find how to integrate with CUCM.

MVS is the only solution these days.

Murat, I am currently trying to get Cisco Jabber integrated with an iPhone.  I have folled the Admin guide, installed the iPhone cop file and restarted the cluster. I added the device to call manager, but when I try to connect I get

“Unable to verify account”.

Do you remember if you ran accross this during your deployment?

UCCM: 8.0(3)

Chris;

Yes MVS seems only solution unfortunately there is no MVS solution in Turkey. BB says it will come.

Sean;

I did not integrated with my desktop phone. Just passed the step 1.  Also Jabber has released and update version yesterday. Try that one. You can download it from App Store.

There are problems with Jabber which I am testing now.

I have one-way audio problem with 8945 phones which has firmware,

9.1.2(SCCP 9-1-2-SR-1)

Also upgrade path has bug too

    If you are upgrading the Cisco Unified IP Phones 8941 and 8945 from Release 9.1(2) to Release 9.2(3), be sure to connect a power supply to the phone. Otherwise, the phone could fail to boot up during power loss due to CSCtn62843. No such limitation exists if you are upgrading to Release 9.2(3) from Release 9.1(2)SR1 and later.

The second problem is with my SIP FCT. It works great with g911 codec but fails with g729 codec. Same problem, one-way audio.

We have CUCM 8.6.2

Murat,

The your only other option to use BB would be to implement CUMA, but the product is dead and no longer recommended, so my recommendation would be to wait for MVS, and for now perhaps only use Mobile Connect for single number reach.

HTH,

Chris
