Hi,
I've read in Cisco Unified Wireless IP Phone 7921G Version 1.0(2) (Q&A)
that this phone supports only the SCCP protocol. Support for SIP protocol will come later.
Does someone know a possible date for SIP support?
Are there other cisco wireless phones (like 7921 model, but not end of sale like Cisco WIP310) that now support SIP protocol?
Many thanks,
Nicola

Have you ever tried Cisco CME? Il will allow these phones to work have much better features than, e.g., Asterix, 3CX, or any other SIP based IP PBX.

Yes, I know CallManager Express, and it's a very good product.
A customer, so far, would change only the own phones with Cisco Wireless Phones, and not the pbx.

Try explaining your customer that making a good phne system is not the same as mixing stuffing for a calzone - using products from the same maker will work better instead.
