Hi All, I have one pair Cisco UCXN Publisher and Subscriber in different UCS server (Site A and B).
Site A use voicemail system in Publisher and Site B use voicemail system in Subscriber.
UCS server where UCXN Subscriber installed (SIte B) had crashed. Now I have some problem when i pressed message button, sound " Sorry, Opening Greeting is not available, Operator is not available " not " Enter your pin followed by #"
voicemail system in Site A is working well.
What should I do?
Thanks,
Helmi

Hi Helmi,
You can try running this command on the Subscriber's CLI: "utils cuc cluster overwritedb". This command will copy the database and other relevant files from the Publisher over to the Subscriber server and might help resolving the greeting issue.

Tere.

yes you need to rebuild the server as Helmin mentioned. But this is the reason you are facing the problem you are facing now.
Your configuration should have been like this:
1) Creat Site B voice-mail huntlist
2) Put the voicemail ports for Unity Con B into a line group and make it the primary ports or put at the top of the hunt list
3) Put the voicemail ports for Unity Con A into a line group and make it the secondary ports or put at the buttom of the huntlist
By do this, you would failed over to server A. A work around while you are rebuilding the Sub, you can just give the users in site B the save voice mail profile that is being used by Site A
If you go to this link, you will see how a similar problem to yours was resovled.
The only difference this time was that it was the publisher that failed and not the sub. But to be honest, procedure is almost the same. There is just one command that is differnce.
it the link above link, the Command ' utils cuc cluster renegotiate was used. in your case you will user the command 'utils cuc cluster overwritedb'. Thats the only difference.

Hello,
It looks like your server has gone into read-only mode. I would rebuild it if I were you. You were not supposed to used
'utils cuc cluster renegotiate' that is for rebuilding/re-syncing the Publisher server. As it is your sub that is having problems, the command that you needed was , 'utils cuc cluster overwritedb'. That was really the only command you needed.
You can find the step-by-step guide for rebuilding your server here:
Remember to use 'utils cuc cluster overwritedb' instead of 'utils cuc cluster renegotiate'
If you want to know what the difference between these two commands are then check the: 'utils cuc cluster CLI commands’ section in the link below.
