Hi
I converted an old UK Series 706 telephone to work on modern systems. I can receive incoming calls but obviously not make calls. I bought a Cisco VG202XM brand new and boxed.
However it is a bit beyond me to know where to go now. The on-line tutorials all pre-suppose knowledge I don't have.
Would anybody be able to guide me or point me in the right direction?
Many thanks

Do you have a CUCM to register the VG202 to?

Then it's useless.
You need to have a CUCM (PBX) to register the VG to, to then connect analog devices.
A VG is just an analog to IP converter, and is useless alone.
