Cisco VG204XM compatible with UCM 8.6

We have a UCM 8.6 and are using some VG204's for some external sounders. It works well. We have to extend this a little and the VG204's are now EOL. Does anybody know if the VG204XM's are compatible with 8.6? There is no drop down in 8.6 for the VG204XM, only the VG202/4 so I'm wondering if anybody has got a VG204XM running with 8.6 using the drop down?

In the Tested Compatibility table
8.6(2)SU2, 9.0.1, or later

thanks for the info. I had a look and the table says 6.1.3, 7.0.1 or later (far right column)

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I think I'll give it a shot by trying the drop down of VG204 to see how we get on.

Hi Louis,

You won't get a separate option for VG202XM or VG204XM, the only two options available are VG202 and VG204 and you need to use the same. Even if you upgrade to 10.x or 11.x versions the same VG202 and VG204 options are available and need to be used for the XM platforms.
