Cisco voice gateway with multiple PRI

Hi,

We have Cisco voice gateway 2921 with single PRI which is working fine. Now, planning to add-on 3 more PRI in same gateway.

Anyone have sample configuration for multiple PRI with single gateway to define each PRI with separate SIP Trunk on CUCM.

Customer 1 - PRI 1
Customer 2 - PRI 2
Customer 3 - PRI 3
Customer 4 - PRI 4

Thanks in advance.

Hi Rizwan,

PRI configuration remain the same, with minor changes to what interface the voice card is plugged into, see below

https://community.cisco.com/t5/collaboration-knowledge-base/basic-t1-pri-configuration-lab-recreation-service-provider-and/ta-p/3164260

I was not able to understand "single gateway to define each PRI with separate SIP Trunk on CUCM." this part of your question, can you elaborate?

You don’t have one SIP trunk from your gateway per ISDN circuit. You need to come up with another way to differentiate between your customers to steer them towards the ISDN circuit that you want it to use.

Hi,

to use different SIP trunks for different PRI's, you could check out my blog-post https://community.cisco.com/t5/collaboration-knowledge-base/multiple-sip-trunks-on-cube-uri-based-dial-peer-matching/ta-p/4562385.

It's the same concept. The only difference is, it is SIP to SIP. But that doesn't really change the concept.
The interesting part for you is the config for the connection between CUCM and the VG. Depending on your current firmware version, you maybe have to do an upgrade, to use some of the "newer" commands.
