cme 10.5 fxs no dialtone - Tip Ground Status is active

hello everyone,

one of my fxs port is not getting dialtone, when i run show voice port 0/2/1 (the issued port ),

this line called my attention: Tip Ground Status is active, tip groind is always active, no matter if onhook or offhook.

is this normal?

Can you try doing a shut/no shut on the port? If not can you post the config on the voice port and also post the output of the below show commands:

show voice port summary

show voice port 0/2/1

Was it working before or it has never worked?

1.- i´ve already shutdown/no shut the port.

4. I never test that port it was the first time i wanned to use it .

the show voice port summary and show voice port 0/2/1 are on the attached files.

Hi,

This is fine. Can you share the output of debug voice ccapi and debug voice vtsp when the phone goes off-hook.

Also, please try to follow the guidance from Terry.

none of those two commads generate output when the phone goes off-hook, the others FXS ports  generate output.

Did you enable ter monitor? What is the logging level for monitor.

other fxs generated output when offhook.

the loggin level for monitor is debbugin.
