CME 7.1 Default RIng Behavior

Hello,

I have an issue where I have several different ring tones available and 7940 phones with different DNs on each button.  1st DN is the personal DN and the 2nd DN is a shared line for the main number.  I want to allow users to select different ring tones for each DN but when I go into "Preferences" I can only choose the Default ring tone which sets the same ring tone for both DNs.  Is it possible to have different ring tones per DN on the same phone?

Hi Scott,

Did you try to scroll down and highlight line 2 etc. before pressing "Select"

this should give you different options (Ring1 - Ring7)

Hey Rob,

I guess I forgot to mention that when I do that the phone thinks for a while and then says "Ring File Unavailable".  I have 3 choices.  Default Ring, DN1 and DN 2.  The ring list will only populate when I choose "Default Ring"
