Dears,
Have anybody experience this problem before 7942 doesn't get registered ,, below are the logs from TFTP. It is not a secure communication then why it is looking for CTL files ??

Hi Adam,
The phone will go through looking for the CTL files regardless even if it doesn't need them. It isn't a necessary file so you can safely disregard that part. But as for the other messages, that is something I haven't seen before. Are all other phones working correctly or is this the only phone on the network? What does your network look like? I am interested to see exactly what is going on here.

Dears,
According to you post we shld not care for the ctl and itl files then after that it is looking for SEP00E16D14F144.cnf.xml file which is also not available in the flash so it is choosing the default but still it is not registering.
I have done many times.
telephony service,
no create cnf files
create cn files

Dears,
in telephony service I have mentioned wrong ip address for the below command that the reason 7942 were not registering.
ip source-address 192.168.X.X port 2000
