CME 8.6, 2 SIP Phones need to be configured as one Ext.

Hello Guys

I have CME 8.6 Up and Running...

The manager has 9951 IP Phone (Ext. no 1000) , and he needs another SIP phone with wireless handset. I got Yealink phone with base-station W60B (Ext. no 2000).

The two phones working fine but on different Ext. no 1000 and 2000.

The manager want the following:

1- The two phones to have same Ext. and to be ringing simultaneously when any caller dial 1000. 

2- When the manger call any ext. from any phone (9951 or yealink) he want to use Ext. 1000 also.

How I can achieve that by using two SIP phones inside CME 8.6.

You can using share-dn command under voice register dn . Keep both voice
register dn numbers as 1000

The only thing that I can't remember is the version support for this
command. I recall that it started with 9.x but cross check it.

I have searched for this command and unfortunately it looks like not available at CME 8.6, here bellow the output of the command:

This enables shared line in CME.

I just looked it up and the syntax of the command

*shared-line max-calls *


Its in 9.1. I think you plan for upgrade if need.
