The 69xx series doesn't seem to show the system message, nor what number someone is parked at. Is this how they are supposed to function?

It should show the Park number when a call i s placed on Park as seen below from the 69XX user guide:
1. During a call, press the Park softkey.
Your phone displays the call park number where the system stored your call.
2. Note the call park number displayed on your phone screen.
You will use the number to retrieve the call.
3. Hang up.
You have a limited time to retrieve a parked call before it reverts to ringing at the original number.
4. From any other Cisco Unified IP Phone in your network, enter the call park number to retrieve the call.
Are the 69XX phones the only ones seeing this issue?

Turns out that not setting the phone type on the CME router under Ephone will cause this in 69xx phones. Thanks tac!
