Hello,
i hav a cme,
i am using the following translation pattern to map the e1 line to my 5 digit extension for outgoign calls,
voice translation-rule 13
rule 1 /70101/ /4528001/
rule 2 /70102/ /4528002/
rule 3 /70103/ /4528003/
rule 4 /70104/ /4528004/
rule 5 /70105/ /4528005/
rule 6 /70106/ /4528006/
rule 7 /70107/ /4528007/
rule 8 /70108/ /4528008/
rule 9 /70109/ /4528009/
rule 10 /70110/ /4528010/
rule 11 /70111/ /4528011/
rule 12 /70112/ /4528012/
rule 13 /70113/ /4528013/
rule 14 /70114/ /4528014/
rule 15 /70115/ /4528015/
my problem is i want to configure outgoing calls to start with a 9.T without forwarding the 9.
How can i add it to my translation-rule or what other solution i may have?
Best regards

If you are using a pots dial-peer, then the 9 will be stripped automatically...are you using ISDN for PSTN?

dear aokanlawon,
i always use pots dial-peer but the 9 never get stripped, i make a translation patter for it usually (/^9/ //)
i am using E1 pri line.
lets say :
voice translation-rule 13
rule 1 /70101/ /4528001/
rule 2 /70102/ /4528002/
voice translation-profile out2
translate calling 13
dial-peer voice 60 pots
translation-profile outgoing out2
destination-pattern 9T
direct-inward-dial
port 0/0/0:15
forward-digits all

It is because you have forward-digits all...remove it under the config..
dial-peer voice 60 pots
no forward-digits all

Hi.
Just to correct what Aok suggested.
dial-peer voice 60 pots
default forward-digits
Because command no forward-digits all will apply forward digits 0
Anyway, 5p to Aok because he has always a good answer
