CME Licensing

Hi all

We have a CME with tradional license and 60 phones ares used(7940, 7960, 8840)

Now instaed of using cp8845 we had upgraded the version of CME to 10.5 and added 30 CME-UL.

but after 2 months, the systme shutdowns and i notice that the cme-ul didn't decrement.

So i want to know the compatibility of traditional license and smart???

CME license= tradionnal 

CME-UL= smart

What ISR model you are using for CME? 

Please note that, Cisco Unified CME supports Smart Licensing from Release 11.7 onwards and it is supported only on Cisco 4000 Series Integrated Services Router. After Release 11.7, you can not combine Traditional Licenses and Smart Licenses. You need to upgrade all your Traditional Licenses to Smart License and register with Smart Account.

Smart Licensing is not supported in CME version 10.5 and older ISR routers.

We used a ISR Cisco 4431
