Hi,
Got a client that is running CME 8.6 and currently has a dynamic hunt group to handle inbound sales calls.
Agents login and logout depneding on shift patterns, up until now 20 slots has been enough but they have recently employed more sales staff and require more than 20 agents in that hunt group at a time.
Is there any trickery that I could use to facilitate the request, maybe creating two dummy DN's which are members of the mains sales hunt groups which forward to 2 separate hunt groups?
Any help appreciated.
Regards
Paul

You don't need a dummy DN to send calls to more than one hunt group.
You can configure "final" to be the pilot number of the other, or assign the same pilot number to both, and they will be split calls round-robin.

So if I create another hunt group with the same pilot number it will round robin the inbound calls?
The idea really to give members of both hunt groups a fair chance of handling the call.

When two dial-peers (ephone-hunt are one of the many forms) have the same preference, calls will be distributed round-robin.
