CME Redundancy Clarification required

Hi,

I am looking for a solution on CME redundancy. I have got the soultion from one of the cisco's guide.

But I want some more information. There are two CMEs on HO and BO. HSRP is configured bewtween the two CMEs kept in HO and is same on the BO side. As there is no relation between HSRP and CME, is HSRP really required here? Also I beleive I have to change the network topology too. I have attached the topology. Kindly let me know.

Hi,

CME redundancy is not related to CME. HSRP adds redundancy for switches and interface vlans. if you apply it is better for your network availability.

for CME, by referring to the cisco guide you have shared, you need to configure primary and secondary CME.
