Hi All,
I have a problem for the CME configuration.
A end user ephone (CP7965G) have 2 DN, 1st line is end user no. , the 2nd line is boss sharded line.
When the end user using line 1 (1st phone line active in this time), a new call calling to his boss, the 2nd line is flashing but didn't ring.
I understand when I using CUCM just set the "Ring Setting (Phone Active)" to "ring" in the boss line,
but in CME, how can I allow the 2nd line ringing in CME command?
Many Thanks.
Regards,
Ivan

I think you want call-waiting signal, not ring?
Both options are configured under ephone-dn and ephone.
You can reference the documentation for more information.

Thanks for your reply,
I tried use the call-waiting ring command, but it didn't work.
For the 1st line active, I want 2nd line ring at the phone speaker (not hear at headset) when new incoming call arrived.

Hi Ivan,
You may be seeing this behavior;
All phones sharing the common directory number can initate and receive calls at the same time. Calls to
the mixed shared line ring simultaneously on all phones without active calls and any of these phones can
answer the incoming calls.
