CME SIP PHONE TRANSCODE

For a SIP phone (none Cisco IP Phone, Linksys SPA with SIP firmware) at cme ( version 4.1 ) site, is it supporting transcode? Or it will be work only for Cisco IP Phone ( SCCP firmware )? There is a command (configure transcoding resources): associate application sccp.

Call flow:

(Linksys SPA) --SIP, G.711A-Law- - > (CME) --H.323, G.729--> (GK)

SPA phones supports G.729, don't need transcoding. Use voice class codec under voice register pool.
