Is Cisco Catalyst 1000 Series compatible with the older IP Phones like

Cisco IP Phone 7900 Series?

I echo @Leo Laohoo sentiment, this is a quite vague question. Why would it not be compatible? It's "just" Ethernet and that doesn't have specifics on the model of the device connected.
