Hello,
our customer is migrating from CUCM 11.5 to a fresh installed CUCM 15 and gradually moving phones and ISRs to the 15.
Asking if an ISR can be used as a HW conference bridge on CUCM 11.5 and CUCM 15 at the same time.
I would not recommend it, but is it feasible on a purely technical point of view?

Yes a new DSP farm would be used for this.
Well recommended or so I don’t have an option on that. They are independent entities, managed by separate control units, so I don’t see any real issues with this.

Yes it is possible. Technically it would be two different conferences bridges with separate configuration and each one would use its own group of DSP resources. To make it clear, you cannot have one CFB register with multiple CMs and you cannot use the same DSP resources in multiple CFBs.

Thank you so much Roger for clarifying this.
Do you consider this feasible but not recommended?
And would it consist in adding into the ISR a new "dspfarm profile x conference" (balancing the max sessions from the already existing conference profile and the new one)?

PS ...and I assume the new media resources and IPs would go under a new "sccp ccm group" to be configured, correct?

Yes I realize that mine is a very generic question with a lot of variables and dependencies, was just asking a general opinion as this is the first time I am asked to do that.
Thanks for your help Roger!
