Conference Phone 8831

I have a client with a Conference Phone 8831. But it does not satisfy the customer satisfaction because the group can not be heard (12 people in the room). They have tested the two parts of microphones that come with this equipment both wired and wireless and has not served the solution. I ask you there is another solution for this equipment that allows a higher range.

You did not describe how big the room is, but the 8831s have pretty good coverage especially with the extended mics, see the specs:

  • 20 ft. by 20 ft Sound Base only
  • 20 ft by 30 ft (Sound Base + Extension Microphone Kit)

  • > 30 ft by 40 ft (Two Sound Bases connected in Linked mode)

If this does not meet the requirements, I suppose you can look at their party phones such as Polycom, assuming you are OK with many caveats those present.

A Secondary (daisy-chain) Base Kit occurs
But my question could have the 4 wired microphones working could be the solution?
