Hi,
I'm looking for a conference phone that is compatible with CUCM 7.1.5.
I see the models 7937G and 8831.
Are they compatible with CUCM 7.1.5 and is there any information about how many DLU they consume?
Regards.

Yes, those part codes look right.
For 6921 you would get enhanced LIC-CUCM-USR-A
For Conference phones, a Public Space license - PUBLIC-IP-DEV-ADD
ESW and UCSS additional if you subscribe to maintenance on your licenses.
If you are a registered Cisco partner, all of the UC ordering guides are available here.

As has been stated previously when you register the PAKs you will simply receive DLUs by return, so the back end process on CUCM hasn't altered (at version 7 and 8 anyway). Once you get to version 9.x user based licensed is enforced.

Is this the top level P/N we should use CUCM-USR-LIC-ADD?
Best regards.

Are you guys sure that 6921 needs an enhanced license?
From the info I found 6911 and 6921 need basic license.

Hi
Yes, sorry you're right. 6921 does seem to consume basic license. I'm not sure if this has changed, as I'm reasonably certain that basic licenses originally only covered 6901/6911.
6901 are now covered by an essential license.
Sorry for the confusion.

Hi,
So for a BE6K 9.1, what license should you use for a 7937, do we need to purchase an enhanced license to support this phone type?
Public space licenses are gone and replaced with essential or basic, but they do not support a 7937, so you have to buy a whole enhanced licence?
