Conference with G.729 regions.

Hi.

Is there a possibility to use CUCM built-in conference bridige, which is G.711 only with G.729 regions with help of IOS router transcoder? Like force these participants to be transcoded by router and then participate in conference.

What is required steps to make it happen?

I have added transcoder into Transcoders section, added it into media resource group. Added corresponding list to both device pools. But calling remote site into conference doesn't work.

Yes, you can use a Transcoder for it to work with G729. The MGRL which has been assigned to the Device Pool on the SW Conf Bridge should have access to the tanscoder as well.Also, the Regions setting on the CUCM should allow G711 codec to be used between the Regions in which the Conference Bridge and Transcoder reside.
