Hello all, I'm trying to connect wireless phone 7925 in wireless "a" band but I can't do it work.

Finally it connect to 802.11g and if I force the connection to A it doesn't work.

Any ideas?

Which AP vendor/model are you using ?

I have 29 lightweight APs AIR-LAP1242AG-A-K9  at 5508 controller Software Version 6.0.202.0

Thanks

You need to provide more information:

1.  Is your Voice-related SSID configured/allowed on 802.11a radio?

2.  What error messages are you getting?

3.  What security/encryption are you using?

1.  Is your Voice-related SSID configured/allowed on 802.11a radio?

Yes, other devices connect to 802.11a correctly

2.  What error messages are you getting?

No connection.

3.  What security/encryption are you using?

The controlle has two SSIDs configured, One is OPEN, free internet and  works correctly, the VOICE-SSID y configured with CCKM authentication,  and AES as encryption.

If it's not connecting, then make sure the 7925 password is correct.  Have you checked if the phone password reaches the RADIUS server?

With the same configuration to 802.11g connect correctly.

No, the authentication don't reach the RADIUS server, I think that is something wrong at negotiation with 802.11a

Hi Martin,

The problem might be the regulatory domain. You might need to change the Country code to match the regulatory domain of the phones.
