Connecting FXS port to Bogen TAMB2 for paging

Hello,

I am trying to get an overhead paging system working. I have a FXS port connected to a TAMB2 and then to a 100Watt Avaya amp.

The current Avaya system has a paging port which connects to the amp.

I tested the FXS port first by connecting an analog phone and it is working.

when i make a test page, I do not hear anything on the overhead speakers.

I connected the FXS port to the Bogen, then the Bogen to the RJ11 port on the amp

Any thoughts,

Two ideas for you.

1. Are you sure you need TAMB? If Avaya amp has RJ-11 connector as opposed RCA or 3.5MM it kind of implies in might take an FXS or FXO port input.

2. Did you set dip switches on TAMB correctly?

TAMB also does not need -24V power supply if used on FXS port.
