Hi there
I wonder if someone can help me with this?
I am trying to get the connection database proxy started but it just will not start.
So far i have an account that I am use to log into the Connection Servicability which has "Remote Administrator" role.
I have also set the service shutdown timeer to 999 days.
After all this the service will still not start.
Any advice would really be appriciated.
Thanks in advance
Sue

Hi Sue,
It's possible that the engineer who set this up originally
used a different admin account....... I would go ahead and
open a TAC case on this one now. You can open the SR
right from this page

Cheers!

There was indeed a BUG in our version of Unity.
This has now been resolved.
We have accessed the original admin account that the system was installed on and had the pwd reset.
We then had to SSH into UNITY as Admin
Create a new user name and pwd to allow SSH access to ROOT.
utils remote_account enable
utils remote_account create USERNAME
Once you have the login details, log in to Unity with SSH.
Type in the following command to manually start the service.
cuc_controlcenter.sh "Connection Database Proxy" activate
Hope this helps someone.
