Hi

we have ccucm 12 and in device we have line by office, ex: marketing XXXX not by user, we want to make corporate directory by number XXXX of each office, how we can do it?

Just add a new local user for the "office" in CUCM and add the office phone number in the telephone field.

The corperate Directly details are basically End User details on CUCM.

You have below option

1. Manually configure users
2. Import users from AD.

To add users manually you need to go to  End user page and create new user.

Note:- Make sure Telephone filed is filled with correct information.

For second option, importing users from AD, you need to first enable LDAP  and configure LDAP Directory from where you can sync users.

but we want to get device number description in directory corporate not local or ldap in end user.

device is used when we create new phone and affect description or ascii name is showed when call without use  of end user

i hope you understand my need if its possible!

but the users in the end user table are used, when searching contacts in the corporate directory. And not a device / directory number you add.

So, if you want to search for a contact in the directory, you have to add a user with a telephone number.

To search contact from  cooperate directory you must have end user created with last name, First Name and telephone number.

When searching corporate directory, it’s not searching the device you configured with extension.
