Experiencing issue with one CP8831. Currently running CUCM Version 11.5.1.13900-52 There are over 30 of the CP 8831 model on the network that are registered to the CUCM without any issue except one particular device. The issue with the faulty device is that it registers, but drops the registration, and then registers, and then drops. It continues this loop. We have swapped the “faulty” with a known working phone to establish if issue follows the phone or switch port. We have powered down device and restarted after an hour.
We note the only parameter different from a working device on same network is that the active load for the faulty device is sip8831.10-3-1SR3-5 whilst the working device is sip8831.10-3-1SR2-2

Hello,
Can you check the default firmware version that you have set on your CUCM for 8831 sets?
If the "faulty" 8831 device has a newer firmware version than your default firmware version set on the CUCM, then most probably this causes a loop on the registration process of the phone.
Check Device-Device Settings-Device Defaults and if possible upgrade to a newer firmware version

Have you tried to upgrade the default firmware on this type of device?
Can you post the device registration status on the specific device and the device default firmware specified on the CUCM, as I have described above?
