create a new BAT for CUCM and CUPS

Hi!

I need to now what are the steps to get the BAT file in CUCM and CUPS. I have found how to import that file created, but i dont see how to get it, please anybody could help me??

I'm not sure what you mean.

If your not sure how to create the bat file:

Just go to "Bulk Administration"-> CUPS -> "view sample file"

Create a txt file which looks like the one you just viewed.

The sample file will probaly look like:
User ID,Enable CUP,Enable CUPC

xmzhou,t,t

ddaiker,t,f

After creating the file upload the file under:

"Bulk Administration" -> "Upload/Download Files"

-Click on Add new

- Add your custom file

- Select CUP-User as Target

- Select CUP-User Update as transaction type

After adding the File to Bulk Administration you should be able to select it under "Bulk Administration" -> CUPS -> "Update CUPS/CUPC Users"

Thanks, i need to create a new BAT, as a backup of all users and phone, because after it i need to upload that information.

So create a new BAT is like a make a backup?

No,  it's not a Backup.

My description is leading to a new configuration.

If you want to export the Information as a Backup:

- go to "CUPS -> "Export CUPS/CUPC Users"

- filter the users you want to export

- enter a Filename and start the job

This will not backup the users or phones itself.

You also can export a list of phones and users under the Bulk Administration.

If you wan't to have a proper system backup, I recommend you configuring a propper backup under "Desaster Recovery System"
