Just wondering if any one has had experience integrating CUCM to a NEC PBX using a sip trunk.
i just need to configure the SIP trunk on the call manager side.

Hi Declan,
You can simply create a SIP trunk on the CUCM and point that trunk to NEC PBX. There is no special configuration as such. SIP is point to point protocol, so we just need to point one server to the other.
Use the IP address( which will listen to SIP messages) of the NEC and configure on CUCM SIP trunk. Please see the screenshot below.
Note: To configure SIP trunk on CUCM, go to Device>Trunk>SIP Trunk and configure the settings.

That's what i thought, just a simple SIP Trunk. I guess im worried about if a SIP Trunk security profile is needed or not. I will test it out and see how it goes.

Hi Declan,
There are so many SIP properties that we can apply on SIP trunk. SIP security profile and SIP profile are the major ones.
I would suggest you to get in touch with PBX and check with them what properties/characteristics are they compatible with. They should give you some of the supported parameters which need to be configured.
