Hi Pals,
I am working with CUCM 12.5 and I am troubleshooting SSM Satellite communications, I am attempting to restart the Cisco Smart License Server, but the GUI says "No, you can't" and he CLI says "No you can't".
Is there is a way to restart the Smart License Service in Call Manager 12.5+ ?

Is there is a way to restart the service in the CUCM Call Manager service?
Or maybe to do this via automation?
But I would prefer to manually restarting for now.

AFAIK you only have two options, either reboot the server, or restart the service via root. Not sure why they don't provide a way to restart that service as the others, might be a good idea for a PER.

I've restarted the server many times, and the Cisco Smart License Server never starts up successfully.
is actual REBOOT or SHUTDOWN required, instead of just restart ?
