CUCM 12.5 tomcat high cpu usage

Hello,

We been having our subscriber and publisher tomcat process have a high cpu usage over 90% every other day. The only way the cpu usage drops for tomcat is to restart the tomcat service. However, any suggestions what can be causing the high cpu usage for tomcat. We have cucm 12.5.

There is a lot of reasons why the Tomcat have high CPU , the tomcat logs might show what is the reason, but most of the cases i had with the tomcat was due to a bug if the logs didn't justify the cause of the high cpu

One common reason for high CPU usage is if you use UDS for the the directory connection from Jabber and/or Webex clients. The preferred method would be to use LDAP for that as it doesn't use the data from CM and it can find the nearest AD server for the clients based on SRV records.
