We dont receive Call manager Software Licence version during CUCM upgrade from version 4.3 to 7.1.3 using DMA:
- Running DMA tool on CM 4.3 for upgrade to CUCM 7.1.3
- using cisco.com/go/license to calculate a new license file
- uploading the license file from Cisco into CUCM 7.1.3 and restarting CM service.
Phone licence features and CCM Node licenses seem to be included in the DMA upgrade but.
Software Licence version is missing after the upgrade.
Am I doing something wrong?

This license doesn't come from DMA. It should come from Cisco Product Upgrade Tool (PUT) team based on your UCSS contract. If you didn't have UCSS, then you should have purchased the upgrade and you would have received this license.

Please view all uploaded license and check if you have a license including keyword "SW_FEATURE". If not then you are missing software feature license and you might want to contact Cisco Licensing team to generate one for you.

They will not generate it without a sales order number.

Hi,
Indeed, a software feature license is required and that does not migrate via DMA as the feature usually is version specific.
So either contact TAC-Licensing in case or immediate attention or order via PUT.
